More than 300,000 people are engaging with plantation industry. However they are still suffering from the following issues,

  • Low wages
  • Very poor housing facilities
  • Malnutrition foods
  • Poor education for their children
  • Poor infrastructure facilities

Solving these critical issues requires a collaborative effort from industry stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations.

  Labourers are plays a vital role in the plantation industry and very sensitive issue since there are  human intervention. Hence we should handle this scenario very carefully. Either government or tea factory owners can't solve this problem stand alone. Both parties should work together and find solutions to give following remedies, Attractive daily wages To upgrade their livelihood Opportunity for quality education for their children High standard medical facilities Good infrastructure facilities
